Traders Hotel

Service at guest lounge was commendable. Suitable for business staycation. Definitely will return again.

Pros: Extended my stay for 2 nights. Guest Lounge service was fantastic. Very attentive team. Food served in day 3 evening cocktail was impressive.

Cons: The desk area and office chair in the room were not cleaned properly. Spotted hairs on the seat and water stain on the table. No facial cotton pads nor salt provided in the bathroom. Housekeeping needs to improved.

Pros: We got upgraded to an executive room with view of the Petronas Towers

Best hotel with the best view

Pros: Traders location is by far one of the best places to during New Year's. We didn't need to anywhere to witness the fireworks. The buffet breakfast has an amazing variety of foods catering for all nationality. We celebrated our 30 anniversary and got a lovely sweet surprise in our rooms. The cleaning staff was absolutely amazing as well as the lady at breakfast. Chef went above and beyond to make my husband's favorite vegetarian dish which was a delicious paneer curry.

Cons: There is absolutely nothing to report back on this. Every staff member goes above and beyond to make your stay special.

Would stay again

Pros: We absolutely loved staying at Traders. The room was spectacular with the most comfortable huge bed. It’s very convenient and simple to walk directly from the hotel inside via the adjacent Exhibition Centre to use the city walk or Bukit Bingtang walkway. Suria Mall is literally outside the door. Just a short stroll through the beautiful park. Traders has a beautiful view of the Petronas from their pool and bar area, albeit inside.

Incredible view from a slightly tired room

Pros: The view from the window of the Petronas Towers is fantastic, it’s hard to imagine anything more magnificent.

Cons: The condition is not very new, shabby in places, it hasn't been repaired for a long time.

Pros: Breakfast, High Tea and Cocktail Hour in the Club Lounge was very good.

Cons: On one visit to the Club Lounge for breakfast, we were asked to move as the table we sat at was for 4 and we were only 2. This was odd as once we left the table it was taken by another party of 2 who were not asked to move.

Worth the money, great location.

Pros: Room locatıon 23rd floor. Amazing views of Petrona Towers. Location perfect - beautiful park on the doorstep. Free shuttle to shopping mall that is less than 5 mins on foot (but if you are lazy and it’s hot then this service is useful). A peaceful, lush green location. Grab taxis are around £4-5 to get to other parts of the city e.g. China Town. Breakfast is eat as much as you want and it is a sight for sore eyes. Any type of cuisine is cooked to order by chefs at the various food stalls in the buffet. The breakfast hall is enormous. Lovely cafe outside looks onto park. The sky lounge is great to look onto Petrona Towers with a cold beer (when noisy brats aren’t there celebrating Chinese New Year).

Cons: Noisy children in pool not being disciplined by parents. Though maybe a one-off as it was Chinese New Year.
