St Giles Mid Valley Kuala Lumpur

Spacious room and location, location, location.

Pros: Location is right next door to a shopping mall. Room is spacious with a living space and kitchen. Like the tea snacks offered from 3pm - 6pm. Wonderfull idea.

Cons: Would have liked the tea snacks to include some of the Malaysian snacks and cakes / kuihs.

Comfortable, convenient, restful.

Pros: Spacious, central location, easy to get taxi, abundant food and grocery choices, very quiet, staff has been amazing

Pros: Excellent location, lots of space, great bathroom with both a tub and shower, and comfortable bed

Pros: Great property and the staff were really helpful. Located next to a Mall with lots of shops and restaurants. Kitchen in room pretty well equipped.

Cons: No restaurant in the hotel it’s self.

Brand new residence interior

Pros: this is new residents, after renovation all the interior is change, one thing is it is in the center area of city. Near kl sentra, facilities is good

Wonderful stay, really convenient location since attached to malls, amazing staff.

Pros: Used to stay here all the time since 2015. It's my first time back here after the recent renovation. As always, pool is beautiful and the gym is really huge and quite well equipped. The service is amazing as well. The plus point is the executive lounge where guests can relax and grab a drink or light snacks. Tip: Visit the lounge in the morning for some light bites, may run out in the afternoon. Superb location, connected to Gardens Mall and Mid Valley.

Cons: Honestly, I preferred the old design for the 2-bedroom suite. The TVs provided are way too small for the size of the suites. I'm not sure if they preserved the old furnitures but the 2nd room's cupboard had a faulty light which would not switch off even when the door is closed. Other than that, everything else was pretty up to par.

A comfortable stay in a convenient location

Pros: Most staff were great and couldn’t do enough for you. The rooms were very clean as were the guest facilities like the laundry and lounge. The Concierge staff were also cheerful and helpful.

Cons: A small minority of staff were not friendly and appeared to be judgmental about our mixed marriage (some didn’t realise my wife is fluent in several languages and overheard comments). The check-in process was long (the other receptionist processed three other guests in the time we were processed). Our booking was made several months in advance and I had confirmed the booking beforehand - the receptionist kept trying to call someone about our booking whispering to her coworker. When we asked if there was a problem she replied there wasn’t. When she eventually gave up trying to call who ever she was trying to call she started to tell us about the facilities in a quiet voice. When I told her I couldn’t hear her, she started whispering! After a day spent travelling to get to KL all we wanted was to get to our room. If it wasn’t for the fact we had paid for our 24 day stay in advance, I would have not stayed and sought alternate accommodation. We asked for a quiet room but the 16th floor was noise on a number of occasions. On one occasion we were kept awake all night because piped music was played through the room PA system. It was eventually turned off after we and others complained at 5am. The hotel does not provide a postal service unlike every other hotel we have ever stayed at ( we had postcards with stamps that required posting).

Pros: The rooms have recently been renovated. Overall is excellent! Location is superb!

JOYFUL, FULFILLING AND COMPLETE

Pros: Location , room and breakfast was all excellent. No complaints.

Cons: The parking fee could have been waived for the guest.

We had a reunion .. meeting friends after 30 years. The place made our reunion are a memorable one.

Pros: Location..walk directly into the Garden mall and mid valley mall

Cons: Minor things … the induction stove didn’t work.. it was handled right away. No bowls for noodles in the kitchen.. they were quick to respond .
